Abstract

The distribution and systematics of the inclusive genus Laudakia across the range are covered in this paper. I have made an effort to keep the species of the genus Laudakia together and in an organized manner. For example, the genera Laudakia and Paralaudakia are regarded as one genus. According to taxonomy, the genus Laudakia is a member of the Family Agamidae and the Order Squamata as an ancient work clade. Although I have attempted to examine every species that currently exists, there are a number of species in this genus that are also found in Iran, therefore this problem is not geographically specific. The global range of the species has been examined in this study. By looking at the species and their range, an attempt has been made to give a broad overview of this genus. A basic and comprehensive synopsis of this genus has been created using all available taxonomic data, despite the fact that there haven’t been many genetic investigations on it.
